Product description

Robotic blasting systems bring a new level of automation to pipe joint blasting processes. By integrating a closedloop vacuum blasting unit with an intelligent robot, the system delivers a clean working environment and consistent, uniform blasting results. It automatically detects the cutback area and pipe outer diameter, then calculates and generates the optimal path for the blasting head.

How It Works

Depending on process requirements, one or two robots are positioned alongside the pipe to be treated. Each robot is equipped with a dedicated endofarm tool (EOAT) that integrates displacement sensors and a blasting head connected to a closedloop vacuum blasting and recovery system. Sensors identify the blasting area position and pipe diameter; the robot processes the data and initiates the blasting cycle. In a dualrobot setup, each robot blasts one half of the pipe circumference.
