The main difference between the double-hook shot blasting machine and the single-hook shot blasting machine is that the double-hook shot blasting machine has two hooks, which can mount two workpieces at the same time. When one of the hooks is in the shot blasting chamber, the workpiece can be hung on the hook outside the chamber in advance, and then directly sent into the chamber after the shot blasting is completed, which reduces the time for changing workpieces and improves production efficiency.
These Series Hook Type Shot Blasting Machine is designed for cleaning and strengthening small-to-medium castings, forgings, and steel components in foundry, construction, chemical, and automotive industries. It efficiently removes sand, scale, and oxide layers from batch parts and heat-treated workpieces, including thin-walled delicate items.
Workpieces are suspended directly on hooks (large parts) or mounted on fixtures (small parts). Hooks travel along T/Y-shaped overhead rails into the blasting chamber, where parts rotate to receive uniform steel shot impact from side-mounted blast wheels. The high-abrasion “hot zone” inside the chamber is protected by Mn13 alloy liners. After 3–5 minutes of blasting, finished parts exit via the rail system.
